Originally the dress had a flounce of free hand embroidery in the blouse and the skirt and women in the city wore it, as an everyday vestment because of is simplicity.
Today, it has become more sophisticated, since they added additional flounces and a fuller skirt.
The dress fabric is usually
black, which represents the dense jungle, but they also have a version with the
white satin fabric.
